Fundraiser Responsibility

Fundraisers are solely responsible for ensuring their campaigns comply with applicable fundraising, raffle, gaming, tax, and consumer laws. Each Australian state and territory may have additional requirements — for example, charitable fundraising licences or raffle permits. It's the fundraiser's job to check and comply before launching.

Rewards Disclaimer

Rewards offered through Fundathon are intended as thank-you rewards and must comply with applicable laws and platform rules. Rewards must be lawful, accurately described, and delivered as promised. Cash, alcohol, tobacco, weapons, and other restricted items are not permitted as rewards without appropriate licensing. Fundathon does not provide, fulfil, or guarantee any reward.

Gambling & Raffle Disclaimer

Fundathon is a fundraising platform and not a gambling platform. Any rewards, raffles, competitions, or prize-based activities must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including any state or territory permits or licences required for your campaign.

Stripe Payments

Payments are securely processed through Stripe and other third-party payment providers. Fundathon does not store full card details. Payouts settle to the fundraiser's connected Stripe account on Stripe's standard schedule.

Fraud Protection

Fundathon reserves the right to investigate campaigns and suspend accounts or payouts where fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected. We may, at our sole discretion, reverse transactions, withhold payouts, or remove campaigns to protect supporters and the integrity of the platform.

Honesty & transparency

Be honest about who you are, what the funds are for, and how they will be used. Misleading supporters is grounds for immediate suspension and may be reported to authorities.

Enforcement

Fundathon may, at its sole discretion, remove campaigns, suspend accounts, freeze or reverse payouts where there is reasonable suspicion of a breach of these guidelines, our Terms & Conditions, or applicable law.
